Elvis Schmiedekamp is an American bank executive. He was Vice President of Customer Relations for California Federal Bank, known as CalFed, and was featured in an award-winning billboard campaign in 2001.[1] The successful radio and billboard campaign inspired culture jamming takeoffs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.[2] Mr. Schmiedekamp lost his position in the 2002 Citibank buyout of CalFed.[3][4]
In 2003, he was working in a similar position with AmSouth Bancorporation, a bank based in Birmingham, Alabama.[5]
