Biography[edit]
Born in 1998 in Nouakchott, Mauritania, Elwely Vall is a freelance documentary photographer, climate activist,[1]and computer science student at the city university of New York, Vall exploring local social and environmental issues in Mauritania and West Africa through visual storytelling strategies. He started His first project In the light of change in 2015[1][2] . His work has been exhibited at the Addis FotoFest ,[2] Ethiopia in 2019[3], as well as exhibitions in Mauritania,[4] Algeria, Senegal, United Arab Emirate, Europe, and the United States of America. His a previous grantees from Magnum foundation [3] , Prince Claus fund [5] The Arab Documentary Photography Program[6]
