Emanuela Belleza is a singer, composer, lyrics writer, multi-instrumentalist, painter and polyglot.[1] She was born and raised in Italy and now she lives in Los Angeles, USA.
In 2012 she was chosen by Latin star Juanes in the nation wide contest by MTV Très to sing a duet with him for his MTV Unplugged album.[2] She sang the song “Fotografia”, originally performed by Juanes and Nelly Furtado.
This made Emanuela popular and then she worked with multi-Grammy award winner Gustavo Borner. He produced her CD “Ella Se Va”, all songs are in Spanish and famous musicians from LA are playing on it (e.g. Jimmy Johnson, Dean Parks, Aaron Sterling, Jon Gilutin, Jean Luis Contreras).[3]
With her own song “Esperanza de Amor” she was a finalist at The John Lennon Songwriting Contest. With another song “Stay With Me” she was nominated by The Hollywood Music In Media Awards for the Best R&B/Soul category. And her song “Lo Que Se Da Regresa” made her a finalist at the U.S.A. Songwriting Competition.
Emanuela was the winner of Rumi Awards 2015 as “Best Artist Europe” and “Best Singer Duet”.
She performed in many countries and appeared in various TV shows in networks including Univision, MTV Très, Telemundo, CNN Español, etc.
In 2012 she sang in duet with Latin star Franco De Vita in Los Angeles and was the opening act for Italian star Jovanotti.
In 2016 Emanuela worked with well-known bass player Nathan East on the song "I Love To Dance", composed by the group "80's DNA Reloaded".
Emanuela released 3 albums and now she works on her 4th studio album, producer is Darryl Swann (he produced Macy Gray's album "On How Life Is" in 1999) and Emanuela herself. The album will be released in Summer 2017.
