Emil Biobelemoye Hirai-Garuba, simply known as Emil Garuba (born April 1977) is a Nigerian-American film producer, screenwriter, film director and creative consultant.[1]Emil is a native of Norman, Okhlahoma, United States. He completed his high school education at Kings College, Lagos, Nigeria (1988 - 1994). He then obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Arts (BA) in Political Science (1995 - 1988) and a Master's Degree in Arts (MA) in Creative Writing (2001 - 2003) from the University of Central Okhlahoma. His works have gained regonition and awards in the Nigeria film industry. He is the Creative Director of sutoriteria LLC, a media production and screenplay development company.[2]

Career[edit]

Upon the completion of his Master's Degree, Emil started his career as a professional screenwriter. He works include the prominent movies Lionheart, 4th Republic.[3]
