Emmanuel Wabwire is a Ugandan social entrepreneur and youth leader who served as the Guild president of Uganda Christian University between 2012–2013.[1][2][3] Currently he serves as the Youth Chairperson of the Uganda National Commission for UNESCO since 2015.[4]
Early life and education[edit]
Wabwire was born on November 7, 1990, in Mbale District.[5] He studied his O level from City High School Kampala and his A level at Bukedi College Kachonga in Mbale District.[1][6][7] He holds a bachelor's degree in Development Studies from Uganda Christian University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Catholic University of Milan, Italy[8][9][3]
Career[edit]
While in senior six vacation, Wabwire worked as receptionist at ted Cross Uganda ut later on grew in the ranks.[10] In 2012, Wabwire was voted as the student leader for Uganda Christian University 2012–2013. He was on the Forum for Democratic Change olitical arty ticket.[2] He served as the Chief executive officer of Ithe nternational Development Students Society (2011-2014).[11][12][13] Currently ,he is the Youth Chairperson of the Uganda National Commission for UNESCO since 2015 and he has represented Uganda n the General Conference for UNESCO.[12][7][5] He also serves as Executive Director of Faraja Africa Foundation.[4][3][14][9][2][15][12]
