Emporium Pies is a chain of bakeries established in 2011, serving pies in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. There are currently four locations, in Downtown McKinney, the Bishop Arts District, Deep Ellum, and Fort Worth.[3]

Food[edit]

All four locations serve seven handmade original pie recipes:[3]

Events[edit]

On Pi Day, which is on March 14th every year, Emporium Pies locations offer a free slice of pie to anyone who can recite the first 20 digits of the mathematical constant pi from memory, due to a pun based on the words "pi" and "pie" being homophones in English.[4][5]
