Ente Hridayathinte Udama is a 2002 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Bharath Gopi, starring Lal and Vani Viswanath in the lead role. It is based on the novel of the same title by Perumbadavam Sreedharan. The film has songs composed by Raveendran.
It is the story of love between a revolutionary writer cum activist and a college teacher. Uma after the political murder of Pavithran breaks her relation with her family and opt to live in the college hostel. The story begins as Uma starting a long car journey to the cemetery where Pavithran was laid to rest to offer floral tributes on his death anniversary and progress through her memories about their relationship . It is a story of lost love and sacrifice of life for memories.
