Epic Group is a global apparel manufacturing company headquartered in Hong Kong. It operates large-scale manufacturing facilities in Bangladesh, Jordan, Ethiopia and is expanding into India.[1]

History

Epic Group originated as a textiles trading company in the 1980s and grew into a large-scale apparel manufacturer.[2] Over the decades, the company expanded its production capabilities across Asia, Africa and the Middle East, supplying apparel to international retailers.

Global operations

The company operates major manufacturing facilities in Bangladesh, Jordan, and Ethiopia. These facilities specialize in denim, woven, and casual wear products for global fashion brands.[1]

Entry into India

In 2024, Epic Group announced an investment of about Rs 220 crore to set up its first manufacturing facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, acquiring nearly 40 acres in the IDCO Industrial Estate. The project is managed by its subsidiary Trimetro Garments India and executed by Colliers India.[3]

Sustainability

Epic Group has partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to support sustainable textile manufacturing in Bangladesh and India. The collaboration involves sustainability-linked loans to promote water and energy efficiency, renewable energy use, and green infrastructure in textile manufacturing.[4]
