Epyllion Group (Bengali: এপিলিয়ন গ্রুপ) is a Bangladeshi garments conglomerate based in Dhaka.It was founded in 1994 by Reaz Uddin-Al Mamoon.[1]
History & Activities[edit]
Epyllion was established in 1994 in Dhaka as an export oriented Ready Made Garment manufacturer by Reaz Uddin-Al Mamoon.[1] They started their first venture Dekko Knitwears Limited at Mirpur Dhaka in 1994 with only 2 sewing lines and 200 employees for manufacturing RMG products.[2]
Since then the company has set up its factories in Uttara, Gazipur and Narayanganj. In 2006, the company established a textile unit and LEED Certified garments unit in 2011. The company added printing and embroidery in garments manufacturing process in 2011, operated a yarn dying facility in 2014, and a fabric testing lab in 2015.[3] In 2015, the company launched fashion retail Sailor.[4][5]The retail store has received three awards in three categories including- Best in Store Design, Best Retail under Fashion & Apparel, and Honorable Mention as Best Retail Campaign 2021 in the 6th edition of Bangladesh Retail Congress 2020 organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum.[6]
It Was awarded for its CSR activities.[7]
