Ercüment Akdeniz

Ercüment Akdeniz; politicians, journalists, writers, leader of the Labor Party (Turkey) (EMEP).

He was born in 1972 in Malatya. He grew up as one of the 5 children of a family of workers from Varto. He completed his primary and secondary education in Iskenderun. He worked in construction, printing and textile business lines in Istanbul. In 1991, he won Marmara University Painting Business Education Department. Higher education took part in the youth struggle. In addition to the Emek Gençliği (Labour Youth) organization, he was in charge of the Labor Party (Turkey).[1] On November 22, 2020, at the 9th Ordinary Congress of the Labor Party, he was elected as the chairman of the Labor Party with the election held in the congress. He writes for Evrensel newspaper. He has studies on refugees.[2]
