Eric Kirsten is an American screenwriter and entrepreneur. In 2018, he was credited as the sole writer for the film Midnight Sun.[1] His screenplay The Lighthouse appeared on The Black List in 2012,[2] and soon after, he penned a science fiction script for Ineffable Pictures which has yet to be produced.[3] He is currently collaborating with Tom DeLonge from Blink-182 on two separate film projects, and he is a co-creator (with Scott Speer) on a TV series in development.
Earlier in his career, Fanzter, a company that he co-founded in 2007, released Coolspotters, a collaborative celebrity-tracking website which met with quick success[4] and was later acquired by Disney. Since its founding, Eric has also served as an senior advisor for Codesmith, a software engineering school/startup based in Venice, CA.
He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
