Rashan Allen (born 3 May 1998) is an American tech entrepreneur and filmmaker, who is also a co-founder and CEO of MOORvision Network.

Early life[edit]

Allen was born in Queens, New York, but spent majority of his childhood in Long Island and Brooklyn. Allen played basketball in high school, and for two years he was one of the top guards in Long Island, and played in numerous basketball classic events, such as Alzheimer's All Star game, Dyckman Basketball Tournament and IS8 Basketball Tournament.[1][2]

Career[edit]

In the September 2018, Allen moved to Los Angeles, California, where he met and began working together with Ali-Han Ibragimov as MOORvision Productions.

In the winter of 2018, Allen and Ibragimov co-created and produced multiple videos for Bone Collector’s YouTube channel.[3][4][5][6] In fall of the same year, Ibragimov locked in a $45,000 investment to produce Bompton Had a Dream,[7] a feature film based on a NAACP ACT-SO award-winning play A Dream Deferred that Allen wrote in 2015.[8][9][10] Later this year, Allen has appeared in an Adidas commercial[11] and acted in an upcoming Disney+ series Big Shot.

In fall 2019, Ibragimov and Rashan Allen have co-founded MOORvision Network, a technology and media services startup, with the goal of retaining ownership over their work and empowering other creatives.[8][12][13]

On April 22, 2020, Allen's debut feature film Bompton Had a Dream was released on MOORvision Network.[8][14][15]
