Eric Sage
Eric Sage is a Canadian-American singer, tennis player, actor and a member of The Bay City Rollers. Formerly known as Eric Crabb, he changed his name in 2009 to Eric Sage. Under that name, he produced and recorded two solo albums, Redeem My Heart and Ain't No Rock Stars Anymore.[1]
Professional life[edit]
Eric Sage trained and played at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida. He received a tennis scholarship to San Diego State University and then traveled worldwide playing on the professional tour for four years where he earned an ATP world tennis ranking.[2] After surviving a severe car crash, Sage's professional tennis career was over and he began to focus on his music career.[3]
He founded the Los Angeles Tennis Academy and was the tennis director at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. Sage currently fronts a Bon Jovi cover band called Livin' on a Prayer and has a worldwide visual rock show. In early 2013, he published The Magic Key to Tennis: 1 Thru 10 System. [4][5]
Sage studied voice with Seth Riggs and piano with Terry Trotter. He has appeared in films, most notably as the Guitar Salesman in Wayne's World.[6]
