Ermine has been founded by Mr. Colin Wrigley, MBE[4] and Lt. Col. The Hon. Osborne Wrigley-Pimley-McKerr III.[5][6]

Under the leadership of Mr. Colin Wrigley and Lt. Col. The Hon. O. Wrigley-Pimley-McKerr III, Ermine acquires schools with the intention of preserving the best features of the institutions while transforming those aspects which do not reach its high standards. However, the style of management is innovative in a non-disruptive manner. Ermine schools are academically selective and operate with English as the medium of instruction.[7]
