After his graduation from Conservatorio Superior de Málaga, Aurignac moved to Barcelona to study jazz, modern harmony and improvisation. M.A.P is considered one of the most relevant groups within the Spanish jazz scene[9][10]. He has played as a leader in a multitude of projects; moreover, he has performed with prominent Spanish orchestras as Orquesta Filarmónica de Extremadura, Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, Orquesta Sinfónica de Málaga[11], U · Circle Breakers[12], Sedajazz Latin Ensemble, Sedajazz Bigband, Clasijazz Bigband, Pirineos Jazz Orchestra, Perico Sambeat Bigband, Banda Municipal de Vitoria-Gasteiz[13] & Banda Juvenil de Música Miraflores-Gibraljaire.

Among his influences are included those of Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Thelonious Monk, Igor Stravinsky, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel or Steve Reich.
