Essia Health Inc. is an American company that provides care and documentation services for healthcare providers. It offers electronic medical record implementation, upgrade and support, ICD-10 transition and scribe services. Essia Health Inc. was formerly known as Scribes STAT, Inc. founded by Dr. Kathleen Myers in Portland, Oregon 2011.[1] Essia Health is now Headquartered in Woodland Hills, California.[2] Essia Health employs 600 people and contracts scribes to 20 different specialties in 14 states.[3]

2011, Essia Health (formerly Scribes STAT, Inc.) founded in Portland, Oregon.[4]

May 6th, 2014 Essia Health hires Rachel Leiber run the company’s electronic medical records (EMR) implementation services division, which provides go-live planning and at-the-elbow provider support.[5]

January 9, 2015 Southern California medical scribe firm Essia Health purchased Bellevue, Washington based Eastside Specialty Scribes. Eastside provides doctors with assistants to help with data entry into electronic health records.[6]
