Etech Global Services is a privately owned multinational contact center with its head office located in Nacogdoches, Texas. With nine centers worldwide, in 2021 Etech employed over 2,700 employees and generated revenue of $480 million.[1]

History[edit]

Etech began as Berry Direct, a business division of L. M. Berry and Company, a subsidiary of Bellsouth Corporation, in June 1997.

In 2003, an investment team led by Dilip Barot and Matt Rocco acquired the assets of Berry Direct forming Effective Teleservices (ETI), which later rebranded to Etech Global Services. The company initially employed 400 people in one contact center in Nacogdoches, Texas.[2]

In 2018 the company announced to establish a new contact center in Jamaica, creating around 200 jobs in Montego Bay.[3]
