Ethel Farrell (born 27 November 1902)[1] is an Australian supercentenarian who, at the age of 121 years, 361 days, is the oldest living person in Australia.
Born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, she married twice before moving to Melbourne, Australia in 1948. She was able to regularly travel around the country until the age of 105. It was reported that she used to smoke cigarettes and consumed moderate amounts of alcohol. Her family includes five children, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She currently lives in the state of Victoria.[2]
She has been the oldest person in Australia since the death of Vi Robbins on 8 October 2014.[3]
