European Society for Computing and Technology in Anesthesia and Intensive Care (ESCTAIC) is a nonprofit society for professionals from Clinical Medicine & Engineering. The society was established in 1989 and has ever since corroborated communication between clinical (Anesthesia & Intensive Care Medicine) & technical disciplines (Computer Science & Engineering).[1]
Objectives[edit]
The main objective of ESCTAIC is to encourage development in the field of computing and technology in anesthesia and intensive care.[1]
Activities[edit]
ESCTAIC holds its meetings annually. Since inception the society has organized 20 annual meetings providing a forum for clinicians, anesthetists, intensivists, scientists and engineers.[2][3]
Publications[edit]
ESCTAIC publishes its conference proceedings in the Journal of Clinical Monitoring and Computing.[4][5]
