EvAngelos William Frudakis (May 13, 1921 - February 16, 2019) was an American classical sculptor. He is known for his public commissions, including the national monuments The Signer[3][7] in Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and The Minuteman in the National Guard Building in Washington DC[9] and the National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, VA.[10] He is also recognized for his sculptures John F. Kennedy Memorial, in Atlantic City, New Jersey and Nashua, New Hampshire;[4][11] the Icarus and Daedalus Fountain, in Little Rock, Arkansas;[5][6] and Fishing Bear, on view at the Philadelphia Zoo, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
