Raoul Bhatt (born January 15, 1980) is a Canadian artist, software engineer, businessman and philanthropist. He developed text to screen software for multinational companies.[1]
Career[edit]
Bhatt founded FireText, a text to screen software company in 2005, used on television networks, sporting arenas, nightclubs, churches and concerts.[2] FireText later became a mobile software entertainment company, and was hired in 2014 to develop a social media to screen platform (named SOTV) for the Superbowl at MET Life Stadium in New Jersey.[2][3][4]
In 2010 he developed the Special Olympics Canadian National Games brand.[5] He also partnered with Booster Juice to create Apple stickers and video games exclusively available at The Fit & Fun Zone in Toronto Pearson International Airport.[6][7][8]
In 2015, Bhatt rolled out a Customer Relationship System for SMS, Webchat, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, used by automotive dealerships like GoAuto, AutoCanada and Canada One.[9] This same year he helped the United Way’s Tools for Schools initiative during the Charlie Hebdo attacks.[10]
Bhatt had developed software for multi national companies like Twitter, Yahoo, Bosch,[11] Eventbrite,[12] sports brands like Edmonton Eskimos,[13] Calgary Flames, Wrestlemania, World Cup Soccer; in academia, 22 Canadian Universities, military & defense, Edmonton Police Service, NHS.[14]
In 2016 he was featured in Avenue Edmonton magazine’s Top 40 under 40.[15]
Bhatt has also ventured into the film business, has written, directed, films for the Mexican government, Canadian defence.[16] Raoul has produced a lecture series forNiobe Thompson, a Canadian film director for David Suzuki’s Nature of Things.[17]
