Even Cargo is India’s first all-women delivery platform[1] that trains women to drive, helps them own a vehicle and provides them with opportunities in leading e-commerce platforms as dispatch riders.[2] It works towards attaining gender parity by empowering women and engaging them in professions that have traditionally been inaccessible to them [3] and it advocated and helped change the working hours for its female rider partners from 7am to 3pm to 9am to 5am to respect their household responsibilities.[4]Even Cargo was one one of the social start-ups incubated at The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)[5]
