FMF Cup (Romanian: Cupa Federatia Moldoveneasca de Fotbal) is an annual association football friendly competition for junior national under-17 teams that takes place in Chișinău, Moldova, since 2000. The traditional spring tournament is organized by the Football Association of Moldova.
The first tournament was held in May 2000 in Chișinău, and the winner was the Ukraine national under-17 team.[1]
The tournament participants were divided into two groups of four invited under-17 national teams. The winners of each group played in the final, the second place teams played a match for 3rd place, the third team in each group played a match for 5th place. Since 2009, the teams played 3 round-robin 90-minute matches.[2]
