Fakhrul Zaman bin Wan Abdullah Zawawi (born 13 April 1994) is a Malaysian footballer who plays for Kelantan United as a forward. He was nicknamed Low by his teammates.[2]

Club career[edit]

Early career[edit]

Fakhrul started his career with Kelantan U19 team in 2013. He was also part of the runner up team of Kelantan U19 Malaysia Youth League in 2013. Due to his excellent performance with the team he was promoted to Kelantan U21 by Kelantan U21 head coach at that time, Sideek Samsudin and eventually helped the team to lifted 2013 Malaysia President Cup, he also one of the top scorer for the team.[3] In December 2015 he along with his teammates from the President Cup team has been promoted to the senior squad for 2016 Malaysia Super League campaign.[4]

Fakhrul has been offered to joined the Harimau Muda program twice but had to rejected both of them because of an injury which happen to come at the time he was offered. In 2012, he had a waist injury and had to reject the offer to join Harimau Muda which was under guidance Mat Zan Mat Aris at that time. In 2013, he had an hamstring injury and also had to rejected the offer to play with national team reserve squad.

Kelantan[edit]

On 23 April 2016, he made his first appearance for Kelantan in a 3–0 home victory over Terengganu in the Malaysia Super League and scored his first goal in that match.[5]

MIFA (loan)[edit]

On 29 June 2017, Fakhrul was loaned to Malaysia Premier League club MISC-MIFA on six-month loan deal.[6] He returned to Kelantan after his contract expired.
