Fal Rameshchandra Ghancha is an Indian technology executive and cybersecurity specialist. Since May 2024, he has served as head of technology and chief information security officer (CISO) of Jio BlackRock Asset Management Company (AMC).[1][2][3]
He previously served as vice president and CISO at DSP Mutual Fund from October 2019 to May 2024.[4] Earlier, he held information-security and technology positions at Aegon Life, Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management, and Welspun Corp.[2]
Early life and education
In an interview with ET CISO, Ghancha said he was born and raised in Anjar, Gujarat, became interested in computers early, and studied computer engineering at Nirma University in Ahmedabad.[5]
Career
After joining DSP Mutual Fund in October 2019, Ghancha’s responsibilities included cybersecurity governance, security audits, business continuity planning, and disaster-recovery drills, according to CSO Online.[6]
At Jio BlackRock AMC, he is responsible for both technology leadership and information security.[1][2][3]
Recognition
Business Wire reported that Analytics Insight included Ghancha among "The 10 Most Influential CISOs to Watch in 2021."[7] CSO Online reported that he received CSO100 Awards in 2018 and 2019.[6]
