Ramy Houssaini is a digital trust executive for BNP Paribas.[1][2] He is the founding chair of the Cyber Poverty Line Institute and a global cybersecurity resilience executive. He was a distinguished G7 Cyber Security workgroup member and collaborates on global cybersecurity initiatives impacting critical global infrastructure. He is also a member of the European Commission Expert group.[3]

Ramy pursued electrical and computer engineering at McGill University.[4][5]
He earned a MSc from the McCormick School of Engineering at NU and a MBA from Duke University at Fuqua School of Business.[6][7]
Career[edit]
Ramy was the VP of British Telecom in Europe before joining BNP Paribas.[8][9]
Before that, he worked as the Regional Head of Cyber Practice for Accenture.[10]
Ramy also served as the VP for Global Risk Management at Visa Inc., where he managed global risk in the financial sector.[11][12]
Awards and recognition[edit]
In 2023, Ramy won the 2023 Top 100 CISOs global award and Titanium Champions in Security for his work with the Cybersecurity Community.[13][14][15]
