Faora-Ul is a fictional character in the DC Extended Universe film series, based on the supervillainess of the same name from DC Comics. She is portrayed by Antje Traue and has appeared in Man of Steel as a supporting antagonist. As General Zod's right-hand woman, Faora is a fearsome, ruthless warrior loyal to Krypton and its old ways. Following the planet's destruction, she, Zod, and his other followers locate one of Krypton's only survivors, Kal-El / Clark Kent, on Earth, and follow him there. When it becomes clear they intend to repurpose Earth for their own purposes and threaten humanity's existence, Clark is forced to become Superman to stop them.

Traue's performance in Man of Steel was widely praised. She will reprise her role in The Flash, which is set for a late 2022 release.
