Farwell (formerly, Farwell Station and Stonybrook) is an unincorporated community in Niles Canyon, Alameda County, California. It is located 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-northeast of downtown Fremont,[2] at an elevation of 223 feet (68 m). Its ZIP code is 94536 and its area codes are 510, 341.
The name is in honor of James Dumaresy Farwell, land owner.[2]
