Felipe Augusto Rodrigues Pimentel (Goiânia, April 27, 1996) is a Portuguese-Brazilian.[1] journalist,[2] international correspondent[3][4] and entrepreneur. He has also reached some relevance on social media as a digital influencer and public figure,[5][6] being pointed out as one of the most influential Brazilian personalities in 2020[7]and a spokesperson and activist of LGBT rights on the internet.[8]
Biography[edit]
Born in Goiânia, capital of the State of Goiás, in Brazil, Felipe Pimentel studied jornalism at UnB (University of Brasília), becoming a correspondent and a reporter,[9] collaborating with media and press outlets and public institutions like Legislative Assembly of São Paulo (Alesp) working with Sérgio Ewerton, and for Grupo Globo and TV Globo International, informing about the development of the pandemic situation in Europe, in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
Besides being a journalist, Felipe Pimentel has also become a referential in lifestyle and travels,[10] using social media to report his experiences,[11] reaching more than 1 million people on Instagram[12]
