Fernando Sampaio is a Brazilian television presenter, producer and actor.

Biography

He began his career at 12 years old in theater in Bahia. He was on display for 5 years with the play O Grande Barato é Viver. He made several publicity campaigns and, as a presenter, he was ahead for three years of the Camera Express show, exhibited by TV Salvador.

On TV SBT, he joined the cast of Amigas & Rivais.[2]

He participated in the play Rubem, directed by Fernando Guerreiro, which had two very successful seasons in the capital of Bahia, one in the Theater XVIII and another in the Gregorian Theater of Matos, where Fernando played seven characters, and the montage was a collage of short stories of Rubem Fonseca.

In 2013, he joined the cast of the biblical overproduction, the miniseries José do Egito at RecordTV. He acted in Pecado Mortal and in the series Plano Alto and Milagres de Jesus.

He won his most prominent character when he played the sweet Gahiji , the cook of Pharaoh, who changes his beliefs and follows Moses in the wilderness, in Os Dez Mandamentos.[3][4]

He was a special reporter for two years in the program Programa Xuxa Meneghel da RecordTV, which covered the program behind the scenes for the second largest portal in the country R7 [pt], where he made several interviews with celebrities to the same portal, behind the scenes of the soap operas of the network.[5] In 2017, he joined the cast of the novel O Rico e Lázaro, from RecordTV, interpreting the Hebrew scribe Matias. Currently, he is cast in the children's series Uma Escola Demais to Net NOW and Netflix , still to be released.[6]
