Fescal is the pseudonym of English born music producer David S[1][2][3] Originally from Co. Durham, North East England.[4]

The oeuvre of his music is characterized by a variety of harmonies,[5] textures, melodies,[6] timbres and dynamics,[7][8] and is for the most part, associated with ambient-drone and experimental-lo-fi music.[6] In addition, ABC Radio National has shown support of his work.[9][10]
