Jean Fincy Pierre (born January 29, 1991), also known simply as Fincy, is a Haitian journalist and internet entrepreneur. He is the founder of Balistrad,[1] an independent digital news medium in Haiti.[2]
Biography
Jean Fincy Pierre was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on January 29, 1991.[3][4][5] He studied Business Management at Quisqueya University.[1][4] At the end of 2016, Pierre launched his personal website[4][5] In early 2018, Pierre founded Balistrad[3], an independent online newspaper focused mainly on analysis.[1][6][7][8][9] In 2019, Pierre and his team appointed Vanessa Dalzon editor-in-Chief of Balistrad.[10] In 2020, Pierre and his team launched a blog (Balistrad Blog).[10][11][12]
