Fluix is a software-as-a-service for the B2B market, founded by Readdle in 2014.[1]
It’s a no-code cloud-based platform and mobile app that provides services on workflow automation, document management, and data analysis.[2][3]
History
Fluix was created by the Ukrainian company Readdle, a productivity app development company for the Apple platform.[4] In 2010, Readdle launched PDF Expert, which Apple featured among the best apps for individual business needs.[5] The consumer app caught the attention of global companies, and they soon asked for a bespoke version of PDF Expert for businesses. And already in 2012, Readdle officially launched PDF Expert Enterprise. It had two components: an iPad app for the mobile workforce,[6][7] and a cloud-based web part for configuration and administration of the app.
April, 2013 — the official launch of PDF Expert Enterprise took place at The Next Web conference in Amsterdam.[8] By that time, around 160 companies have been using the solution, including Siemens Wind Power, SAS, BMW, Pandora, and others.[9][10]
November, 2014 — the second generation of PDF Expert Enterprise was released, with a more flexible cloud-based architecture and a new brand name — Fluix.[1]
As of 2018, Fluix has been officially registered as the Irish legal entity based in Dublin and is called Fluix Limited.[11]
October, 2019 - marking the 5th Fluix Anniversary, a Field Productivity Meetup was organized by the Fluix team in Berlin, Germany.[12] Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Titan Airways and other industry leaders shared common challenges and insights on how to overcome them by digitizing and automating business processes.
September, 2020 - Fluix received its ISO 27001 standard certification[13] by going through the audit and certification process with TÜV Nord — a technical service provider with worldwide activities accredited under German accreditation body DAkkS.
Software
Fluix is a B2B software-as-a-service that provides services on workflow automation, field document management, and data reporting and analysis.[14]
Use cases
Fluix is a horizontal tool and is used in a number of industries, such as renewable energy, construction, remodeling, transportation, field service, insurance, and others.[15]
The most popular use cases are: inspections, approval management, safety and quality, compliance audits, asset management, preventive maintenance, project management, contract management, employee training, and others.
Recognitions and Awards
- 2020 — G2 Crowd, business solution review platform, in their Summer 2020 Grid and Index reports, ranked Fluix at the top of the class.[16]
- 2021 — Software world, a software review platform, included Fluix in their annual report as one of the top software of 2020 in two categories – Construction management and Workflow management.[17]
