Flyve MDM is an Open Source Mobile Device Management software edited by Teclib’.
A Mobile Device Management solution is a software that helps companies manage their mobile devices and equipment, such as smartphones, laptops and tablets.
It provides monitoring and inventory functions allowing CIO to control the corporate fleet and its related data, with takeovers and over the air programming (OS remote update for instance).
Flyve MDM, gathers the specs that allow organizations to secure and manage their company android devices fleet, from a unique web-based console.
History
The Flyve MDM project has been created in 2015 when Teclib’ became an open source software Editor.
By gathering its GLPi's knowledge and other open IT competences, Teclib’s team developed the Mobile Device Management Solution. Developers are working on the improvement of the open source software, in order to share it with the Community in the coming months.
The source codes’ release on github is planned for Autumn 2016, and will allow anyone to download and install the solution freely.

Furthermore, the solution is provided as a SaaS platform and is based on GLPi asset management.
The application, which is not relying on Google Cloud services, is compatible with Android 4.4+ based devices.
