Fortanix is a cloud security company that uses Runtime Encryption[1] to secure keys, applications, and data using Intel SGX[2]. It came out of stealth with $8M in funding in 2017[3]. Its investors include Foundation Capital[4].
Fortanix is the first company to leverage products using Intel SGX. Intel SGX is a new set of instructions from Intel designed to protect applications from underlying Operating Systems and other high privileged software.
