Fortanix is a cloud security company that uses Runtime Encryption to secure keys, applications, and data using Intel SGX. [1] It emerged from stealth mode with $8M in funding in 2017. [2] Its investors include Foundation Capital. [3]
Fortanix is the first company to leverage products using Intel SGX. Intel SGX is a new set of instructions from Intel designed to protect applications from underlying Operating Systems and other high-privileged software.
