Fran Ganguzza (Born Francine Ganguzza on July 28, 1959) is the Vice-President, Writer and co-producer of Starline Films, an independent film production and distribution company. Her works include: Harry...a Communication Breakdown and 4CHOSEN: The Documentary.[1]

Early life[edit]

Fran was raised in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey She attended Pascack Hills High School and later pursued a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication at Philadelphia College of Art.[2]

After college, Fran launched an advertising and marketing company, FS Designs, creating advertising and promotional campaigns for clients including The Marque Hotel, Charter Peachford Hospital, Hollywood NYC, BBR Associates, Voices (screenplay promotion) and The NY Office of Film, TV and Broadcasting.

Career[edit]

She joined Starline Films in 2005.[3] Fran co-produced the award-winning documentary, 4CHOSEN: The Documentary and Harry...A Communication Breakdown, which she co-wrote/co-directed with Jon Doscher.[4]

In 2006, Fran became a partner at Starline Films[5] and has played a key role in the writing, development and packaging of upcoming feature films, Old Stoneface, Anyone’s Son, 4CHOSEN, and Legends of October.

She worked on a collaboration with Jim Sheridan, six-time Academy Award-nominated filmmaker for writing, producing and directing (My Left Foot, In the Name of the Father and Brothers). Currently, Doscher and Sheridan are in the process of packaging a feature film production deal.
