Francesca De Grandis is an American Wiccan priestess, and poet. She is a practitioner of Celtic Shamanism and the founder of The Third Road school, a form of modern Pagan new religious movement. De Grandis is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors.[1]
Early life
Francesca De Grandis was born to a Sicilian Italian American family and grew up in Boston.[2] She worked as a dancer, singer, florist, and housekeeper before becoming a Witch full time.[3] Raised Catholic, she found it irreconcilable that as a woman the priesthood was closed to her.[4] She studied with Victor Anderson.[5]

De Grandis completed a seven year training in Celtic Shaminsim [6] She later founded [7] and teaches the Third Road Tradition.[4][8]
Reception
De Grandis is described as an "innovator and thought leader in Paganism."[9] Her music is noted for its influences from Blues, Rock, and Samba in a genre typically informed by Folk.[10]
