Francis Okoro (born November 9, 1999) is a Nigerian professional basketball player for Czarni Słupsk of the Polish Basketball League. He previously played professionally in France, Lithuania, and Greece, and played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks and Saint Louis Billikens.[1]
Early life
Okoro was born in Imo State, Nigeria, and raised in Lagos. He moved to the United States in 2014 to pursue basketball opportunities.[2]
College career
Okoro began his college career at the University of Oregon, playing for the Oregon Ducks from 2018 to 2020.[2] After transferring, he played two seasons (2021–2023) at Saint Louis University, where he averaged 10.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in his final season.[3]
Professional career
In 2023, Okoro signed with *Rouen Métropole Basket* in the French Pro B league, marking his first professional season after college.
Later in 2023, he moved to *Nevėžis Kėdainiai* of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) for the 2023–24 season.[4]
In 2024, Okoro joined *Kolossos Rodou B.C.* in the Greek Basket League, where he also appeared in the Basketball Champions League.[5]
Later that year, he transferred to *AS Karditsa B.C.* to finish the 2024–25 Greek Basket League season.[4]
In June 2025, Okoro signed with *Czarni Słupsk* of the Polish Basketball League for the 2025–26 season.[6]
