Francoforte spaghetti bar is an Australian-Italian fusion restaurant in Northbridge, Western Australia.[1][2][3][4]
Description[edit]
The restaurant is located in Williams Lane, in an enclosed an brick lane-way arcade.
It has relatively small floorspace inside the venue. Many patrons sit outside on the bricks in the lane-way as a result. The layout is described as simple and urban, with exposed cement walls, dark timber flooring, and a green tiled kitchen. The front windows of the restaurant are decorated with cans of tinned tomatoes.[4]
Reviewers have described the restaurant being a hole-in-the-wall casual dining experience,[4] but this appears to have changed in recent years; with Jade Jurewicz of PerthNow noting in her 2023 review that the restaurant had expanded beyond her prior memories of the venue.[1]
The menu includes kangaroo bolognaise, a dish prepared by blending kangaroo rump with pork belly.[1][5] Gourmet Traveller noted the kale pesto and carbonara as a highlight shortly after its opening in 2014.[2]
History[edit]
The restaurant was started 2014 by Julian Staltari. In 2016 it expanded to take over the store-front formerly used by Safari's Record Shack.[6]
