Early life and education[edit]

Franklin Ugwu, known Also known as Frankywright, was born on 4th June 1975 in Lagos, Nigeria to parents Frank Chika Ugwu and Teresa Ugwu. He completed his primary education at 1004 Primary School, Victoria Island, Lagos, and attended Nigeria Navy Secondary School in Lagos from 1985 to 1989. Ugwu pursued higher education at the University of Port Harcourt, earning a BSc in Banking & Finance between 1989 and 1994. Furthering his education, he obtained a Diploma in Computing from the University of Oxford from 2004 to 2006.

Career[edit]

Ugwu's professional journey began at JAFAC Nigeria Limited, where he worked as a junior manager immediately after completing his university education in 1995. He continued there until 2000 before relocating to England. In England, his first job was as a warehouse security officer with BAX Global at Heathrow Airport in 2001. Subsequently, he worked for AEG at the O2 in Greenwich from 2006 to 2009. In September 2009, Ugwu founded Capetune UK Limited, serving as its director since its inception. His role at Capetune has been pivotal in its growth and development Capetune Limited Official Website.

Personal life[edit]

Ugwu is married to Agnes Malinowska, with whom he has been in a relationship since 2003. The couple has two sons, Jason Obi Ugwu (born August 2007) and Jonah Chima Ugwu (born July 2019).
