Freckle is an interactive Web 3 content studio and game developer founded by Emmy and Peabody award winning creative Ian Feiner. Freckle is building the first interactive, token backed and brand sponsored, gameshow network in the Web 3 space. [1]

Freckle created their first Play to Earn (P2E) gameshow Freckle Trivia, which launched on May 4th 2022 with a Disney sponsored Star Wars Trivia livestream. Freckle Trivia is the first Web 3.0 and NFT backed trivia game that partners with major projects, brands, and communities.[1] Participants play daily trivia games to win cryptocurrency, NFTs, and sponsored prizes from their brand partners.[2]

Freckle has partnered with brands like Disney, Bandai Namco, Stance, Culture Kings, Manscaped, Jarritos, Bang Energy, and many more. Freckle is a Polygon Studios project.

Freckle was founded by Ian Feiner and James Mock as an interactive shoppable video platform in 2019.

In February of 2022 Freckle pivoted to creating gamified content experiences for Web 3 natives. Freckle debuted its interactive POAP minting experience as a sponsor of NFTLA convention in March of 2022. [1]

On May 4th 2022 Freckle partnered with Disney to create the first Web 3 livestream trivia game based on Star Wars. Disney provided a grand prize of an all-expenses paid trip to Disneyland in Anaheim CA.

On May 23rd 2022 Freckle launched Freckle Daily Trivia, the first of its kind brand sponsored daily trivia game.[3]

In June of 2022 James Mock left Freckle.

In September of 2022 Freckle announced their strategic partnership with Polygon Studios.[4]
