FreeKaaMaal.com is a social commerce deal and coupon site in India founded in 2010 by Ravi Kumar.[1] It provides deals and coupons from e-commerce sites like Amazon India, Flipkart, Jabong etc.[2] It is a community site where all deals on the platform are posted by the users of the site and then the team of moderators select top deals and post them on main page of the site.[3][4]

FreeKaaMaal was initially founded as Free stuff website to help users find online freebies easily but later the site has also started providing deals, offers and coupons from various Indian E-commerce sites and offline local merchants[5] with the help of their community members.[6][7] FreeKaaMaal is a Hindi word which means "free Stuff" and company is headquated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.[8][9]

Founder Ravi Kumar started this venture with an amount of just Rs. 1500 or $30 in his college dorm room.[10] According to reports, the site’s shopping forum has 80,000 members[11] with more than 7.5 million page views per month. The site ranks as one of the top 2000 Internet properties in India as per Alexa.[12]

FreeKaaMaal publishes deals on various festival occasions like Diwali, New Year, Holi where they post exclusive deals and offers from online shopping sites.[13] Other Feature of FreeKaaMaal includes Deal of the Day section, Trending Deal and "Home page" section where only top voted deals gets promoted.[14] FreeKaaMaal has also launched their Android & iOS app available in Playstore and has been downloaded more than 300,000 times.[15][16]
