FreeKs is a upcoming Argentinian mystery-drama streaming television series for children and adolescents, which is produced by Pampa Films and Gloriamundi Producciones for the Walt Disney Company.[1] In Latin America, the six-part first season of the series is expected to be released in 2022 on Disney+.[2]
Plot[edit]
The life of Gaspar, a talented musician and leader of the band FreeKs, takes an unexpected turn when his friends accuse him of a crime he did not commit. This accusation has far-reaching consequences for Gaspar. He is determined to prove his innocence and reclaim his former life. Gaspar sets out to find the real culprit and does everything he can to track him down. In the meantime, Gaspar has to watch his former band gaining more popularity by the day. At the same time, he witnesses how the remaining band members Ulises, Ludovico, Coco and Juani deal with the overwhelming success and what the pressures and contradictions of fame do to them. During their journey, they all go through a process of development in which they begin to question themselves to find out who they are, what their fears are and who they ultimately want to be.
