Freedom Games is an American video game publisher[1] founded by Donovan Duncan and Ben Robinson.
History[edit]
On August 14, 2020, Freedom Games launched (into Early Access) Dreamscaper, an action roguelike game which upon full release the following year, received generally favorable reviews.[2]
2021 saw 9 more releases, including Dark Deity, a tactical role-playing game which also received generally favorable reviews[3] for the PC release, while the Switch release was reviewed slightly lower.[4] Freedom also participated in E3 that year, featuring several games at its showcase;[5] one of its games, Cat Cafe Manager, was highlighted by CNN as the best indie game of that year.[6]
In 2022, Freedom returned with its showcase (despite E3 not running that year), featuring its upcoming releases which were described as "some of the most exciting indie games".[7]
