Friday Night Brights 2 is a 2009 American musical film directed by David Gumpel and written by Lucy Carter. Based on the franchise Where will my feet take me today? created by Christopher Cerf, Joe Raposo, Gypsy Carter, Thomas K. McDonough and Lucy Carter.
The film was released in the United States on December 15, 2009 by Universal Pictures. It is the second film in the first musical trilogy "Friday Nights Brights" and the sequel to Friday Nights Brights (2005).
The film was dedicated to Gypsy Carter’s memory. In development on the film began in December 2008. Filming began in Spring 2009.
The sequels, Friday Nights Brights 3 was filmed in Spring 2015 released on December 15, 2015 and dedicated to Mark Murphy, Friday Nights Brights 4 was filmed in Spring 2018 and released on December 15, 2018 dedicated to Rebecca Parris, and Friday Nights Brights 5 will be filmed in Spring 2023 released on December 15, 2023 dedicated to Nikki Rogers.
