In 2003, Doug Anderson sold his computer software company and started FrightProps. At an industry trade show, FrightProps exhibited a $30,000 haunted elevator ride and began to expand into electronics and pneumatics after Anderson noted that many people were in learning how the elevator worked.[1] Later, FrightProps recruited Rogue Taxidermist Scott Bibus to sculpt and create gory animal props.[2]
