Fuck It Up! (alt title: F**K IT UP!) is a documentary film starring the English punk rock band Towers of London. [1] [2] It is directed by Glenn Barden and Dave Hills.

The film charts the rise, fall, and spectacular implosion of the underground punk-rock band.[3]

It has been described as This Is Spinal Tap for real. [3]

Plot[edit]

The film begins in 2005 with the band's arrival on the English music scene. It follows the band on a UK tour. It charts the band securing a record deal with TVT Records. There is a fight at SXSW, another fight in Portsmouth and drug taking and drunken behaviour at Rock Am Ring. This is all in the first 20 minutes of the film.

Beneath the Towers' "so over-the-top it's beyond parody" rock star antics and attitude lies a story of spectacular self-abuse. But also a story of friendship and forgiveness. [3]

Release[edit]

The film will have its World Premiere [4] at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in Toronto [5], Canada on Saturday April 30th 2022. It will air in its Nightvision strand for "future cult classics". [3]
