GEC Consulting (GEC) is an international business consulting company providing services to private and public organizations since 2010.[1] GEC Consulting is based in Georgia, with headquarters in Tbilisi[2] and operating offices in Bishkek and Almaty.[3] The company employs around 150 permanent and project-based staff globally and focuses on Eastern European, South Caucasus, and the Central Asian regional markets.[4]
History
GEC Consulting was founded in 2010. In 2014 GEC became a member of International Society for Performance Improvement.[4] In 2015, the company became an IFS Authorized Channel Partner with a geographical scope covering Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.[5] In 2018 GEC Consulting expanded its operations abroad and opened representation offices in Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek and Kazakhstan, Almaty.[6] In 2019 the company purchased an office in Tbilisi, Georgia.[7] In 2021 the company became a member of UN Global Compact Network. In 2021 GEC Consulting became UN Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) signatory.[8] By 2021, the number of local and international projects implemented by the company exceeded 150.[4]
