GM Capital
GM Capital or Garza Mercado Capital is a Mexican real estate development company located in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León; founded by brothers Marco Antonio, Benjamín, and Valentina Garza Mercado in 2014.[1][2] The three brothers are sons of architect Eudelio Garza Lozano.[3] Some of their works are the residential complexes Magma Towers, Fuentes, and Bosques, and various commercial real estate complexes such as La Aurora, Main Entrance, and Plaza Fiesta Anáhuac. Now they are building Distrito Armida, a complex of apartments, offices, commercial zones, and schools, using a zone of 600,000 square meters of construction.[4]
History
Eudelio Garza Lozano, father of the Garza Mercado brothers, led his own company, Grupo Inmobiliario Monterrey (GIM), with the help of his sons. Eudelio gave the leadership of the company to his oldest son, Eudelio Garza Mercado, in 1994. When he died in 2011, the brothers tried to share the company's assets among themselves, but this created a family conflict that ended with the foundation of GM Capital, led by Marco Antonio Garza Mercado.
