GNOME Maps is a graphical front-end for data provided by OpenStreetMap written in JavaScript for GNOME. It was introduced 3 September 2013 with GNOME 3.10 and is under heavy development. GNOME Maps uses GeoClue, allowing it to provide geolocation information based on several sources: GPS devices, nearby WiFi access points, cellular data, and IP addresses.[3][4][5][6][7]
